“Garden designer and writer Dawn Isaac, 43, and husband Reuben, 45, a creative director, live in a Victorian terrace house in Hail Weston, Cambridgeshire, with their children, Ava, 12, Oscar, ten, and Archie, seven.
When Dawn and her family moved out of London eight years ago, the number-one requirement was a garden for the children.
‘It was almost a case of: “Never mind what the house is like, just get the right garden,” ’ says Dawn.
She wanted to make the third-of-an-acre into a space that was beautiful, yet would lure the children away from computer games. Their first request was for a trampoline.”
